Aiken Young Professionals Annual Awards

AYP annually selects a recipient for two prestigious awards. One is the Aiken’s Rising Star which recognizes a rising star- a future Aiken leader.  The other award is for the Most Valuable Young Professional, meaning the MVP of the organization.  Please take the time to think about who deserves this recognition and return your nominations as directed below.

 

AIKEN’S RISING STAR

This annual award recognizes one individual, 22- to 39- years old, who will lead Aiken into the future.  The individual is recognized for overall character, leadership and excellence in his or her chosen field, as well as for overall accomplishment in relationship building, professional development, philanthropic activity, and contribution to the community. (The individual does not have to be a member of Aiken Chamber Young Professionals.)

MOST VALUABLE YOUNG PROFESSIONAL

This annual award honors one individual, 22- to 39-years old, for their involvement in the community, as well as their involvement in Aiken Chamber Young Professionals. This is the person that went above and beyond to make AYP’s year successful.

 

HOW TO NOMINATE 

A nomination letter is required explaining why the nominee should be considered and provide details on nominee’s:

• Involvement • Achievement • Leadership accomplishments
