93rd Annual Dinner Sold Out

It's a month away, and already the attendance for the Aiken Chamber's 93rd Annual Dinner has reached capacity.  The popular coat-and-tie event is sold out.

"I am amazed at the level of support we see every year for our Annual Dinner," said Chamber President J. David Jameson.  "Members enjoy this evening of dining, recognition, and dancing.  The themes add sizzle.  It's a great change from the daily stresses of work."

The January 28th event promises to be entertaining and engaging as the Chamber applauds award winners and passes the symbolic gavel for 2011.

The evening will begin with a 6:30 p.m. reception, followed by dinner, presentation of awards, and plenty of dancing.

"This year's theme is 'Aiken - Life's a Blast,' and I guarantee we're going to have an exciting gala and full filled evening," says Jameson. "This past year we celebrated Aiken's 175th, and we're going to keep the celebration going into 2011."

Popular band TOO MUCH SYLVIA will be on hand with their repertoire of dance music and penchant for catchy costumes and entertaining antics.  Their play list includes R&B, Motown, oldies, beach, classic rock, a little funk, and some hip hop.  Their tag line, "Just making music FUN again," complements the evening's theme.

This year's annual awards will recognize and honor the Woman and Man of the Year, and the Small and Large Business of the Year.
