Aiken Has It  is the innovative new directory featuring the over 1,000 members of the Aiken Chamber. showcases Chamber members through a stunning and interactive grid layout designed to make it easier for people looking for products and services in the Aiken area.

The two overarching recommendations of the Compelling Place to Live Task Force were to:

  • create an aggressive image and marketing strategy to recruit and retain the future workforce of Aiken
  • utilize digital tools to market Aiken and share Aiken resources with community members. is one tactical step of many needed to achieve the goals set by the task force. Utilizing this unique webpage that appeals to the digital and visual marketplace is one step in showcasing Aiken as a great place to Eat, Shop, Stay and Play.

“The Aiken Chamber should be commended for the strategic use of this new website,” said developer Brian Wrasman, CEO and Creative Director of CrossPointe Studios, LLC. “The site benefits Chamber members and residents in Aiken, but it also provides a snapshot for individuals wanting to learn more about the community.”

During the development process, the Chamber reached out to a focus group of its members to gauge their reaction to the product. They instantly recognized the value of the product and the Chamber began the process of setting up every member with a complimentary box on the site. Each box on the site links directly to the member’s website allowing each business to have dynamic information available to the user rather than contact information alone. Members have since raced for premium positioning.

Job growth in the health care, nuclear, manufacturing and cyber industries as well as expected jobs available due to retirements will bring new residents to the area. An aggressive marketing campaign using Google and Facebook ads will begin September 1. Ads will be targeted at individuals seeking information on our region. Making sure Aiken is the top choice when individuals are deciding where to live is important.

“ is an exciting and creative resource that connects customers to our members and allows individuals outside the community an opportunity to explore all Aiken offers,” said Aiken Chamber Chair, Charlie Hartz.
