AYP 2014 Initiatives
• Grow the current membership to 300 members
• Develop a more comprehensive and diverse Lunch & Learn program, including evening programs
• Create a new series that features local business and government leaders sharing their experiences, lessons learned, and professional advice for future AYP leaders
AYP 2013 Highlights
• Held a lunch forum with Aiken City Councilwoman Lessie Price
• Presented to ideas/suggestions for Aiken’s future to the Aiken City Council
• Worked with the City of Aiken Parks, Recreation, and Tourism (PRT) to create a new map that features local places and activities that appeal to young professionals
• Provided input to Global Spectrum/USCA Convocation Center on future entertainment ideas
• Worked with Aiken Downtown Development Association planning and implementing the return of Oktoberfest to downtown
