Be the Woman of the Year in your place of Business

The Chamber's Women in Business Spring Luncheon, "Be the Woman of the Year at Your Place of Business," will feature three women who have made a difference in the local community.

The presenters are Betty Ryberg, vice president, Juilliard in Aiken; Vicki Bukovitz, executive director, Area Churches Together Serving (ACTS); and Dr. Deidre Martin, vice chancellor for University Advancement, University of South Carolina Aiken. As the Chamber's 2012, 2011, and 2010 Woman of the Year, respectively, these women know what it takes to make a positive difference at work, at home, and in the community.

The three award recipients will serve on a panel and share their experiences, thoughts, and lessons learned, as well as offer sound advice on how to make a positive difference.   Mallory Holley, Community Medical Clinic of Aiken County, will serve as the panel facilitator, and Fran Jones, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations, LLC, will serve as the luncheon emcee.

"Be the Woman of the Year at Your Place of Business" will be presented Wednesday, May 15, at Newberry Hall. The event will begin at 11:30 a.m. with networking, followed by lunch and the program.
