Chamber Ambassador Flahault recognized

Flahault is in her third year with the Aiken Chamber's ambassador program and finds the experience to be very rewarding. "I enjoy the increased opportunity to meet other Chamber members, to learn about their businesses, and to share ideas on how we can help each other grow," Flahault said.

"Being an ambassador has given me visibility and credibility in a very short period of time. We really have an outstanding Chamber in the greater Aiken area, and I appreciate the opportunity to be a part of it," she said.

Flahault chaired the support team for the Chamber's Membership Event in March where she coordinated the efforts of "runners" who picked up member applications and delivered information packets to new members throughout the region.

"Pegi and her team did an excellent job during the busy event," said Chamber President J. David Jameson. "It was amazing how she coordinated and streamlined everything, especially considering that her team had to traverse the entire region," he said.

Flahault moved to Aiken in late 2010, re-started her business in early 2011, and began volunteering as a Chamber ambassador and a local SCORE counselor. She proudly said that her first client came from her first Business After Hours with the Chamber. She also said that more than 50% of her business has come from Chamber-related activities.
