FBI agent to lead active shooter training
Active shooter incidents are often unpredictable and evolve quickly. In the midst of the chaos, anyone can play an integral role in mitigating the impacts of an active shooter incident. Federal Bureau of Investigation Special Agent John Chadwick will lead Chamber members through a workshop sharing tools and resources to help employees respond and survive until help arrives in the event of an active shooter or other act of violence in the workplace.
The Aiken Chamber will host the training Thursday, Feb. 1 from 8:30 – 10 a.m. in room 106 of the Penland Building on the campus of USC Aiken. There is no fee to attend, but advance registration is required. Visit www.aikenchamber.net to reserve your seat.
