Free Health Screenings being offered to members


The Aiken Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Aiken Regional Medical Centers to offer free health screenings for its members.  The screenings will be held on Wednesday, August 24, in the Business & Industry Clinic located on the second floor of ARMC.


"We see this health screening opportunity as a way to help our members maintain a healthy workforce.  It is an added value to our members that can potentially pay off in a big way," said Chamber President J. David Jameson.


Trey Nuckols, manager of Business and Industry Development for ARMC, agreed. "We are providing free health screenings to local businesses because we know that healthier employees make a healthier community; therefore, allowing our businesses to perform at higher levels."


The free screenings are available to the first 200 Aiken Chamber members who schedule an appointment.


The following services are included in the health screening:


Lab Work - cholesterol and blood sugar check

Biometrics - Blood pressure, heart rate, BMI, waist girth

Nurse Consultation - review of screening results

Referrals - should a participant need a personal doctor or specialist

Education Materials - information from ARMC doctors and nurses
