Today's technology trends and gadgets are moving at lightning speed; one no sooner tackles one trend before another one is on the horizon. What was once considered fast, like the 2G, is now old school, and technology companies are scrambling to deliver anytime, anywhere, stay-connected devices worldwide to gain a competitive edge.
Technology is a hot topic everywhere - in the news, on the Internet, and in board rooms. The world has become "mobile," and large and small businesses around the globe are on board. They are managing, marketing, and producing results using smart phones and tablets. They are using thousands of applications (apps) 24/7 to help them work faster, smarter, and while on-the-move.
The Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce is offering its members an opportunity to get on the mobile track with "iBusiness 101 - Androids, Apps, and Ipads," a Business Academy designed to provide information and answer questions on all the new mobile technology available today.
The two-hour session will be held October 12 in the USCA Convocation Center VIP room from 8 to 10 a.m.
Topics to be discussed include:
- Benefits of Smartphones
- 3G vs. 4G technology
- What are Tablets?
- How can they help you?
- What are Apps?
- How can they help your business?
The Business Academy presenters are Joey Howard, Verizon, and Marcia L. Allen, Geeks4You.
