Malone recognized as Ambassador of Quarter
Woody Malone, Meybohm REALTORS ® was named Ambassador of the Quarter at the Chamber’s First Friday Means Business breakfast August 4. Malone says he enjoys not only the networking he does for his business and for the Chamber, but also the life-long relationships he has formed with the other ambassadors. Malone must be a good fit for the program; he has stayed involved for over 10 years.
“Woody has been there to help set up, tear down, start and end many of our programs including First Friday Means Business, Business After Hours, Annual Dinner and many more,” said Valerie Umsted, Chair of the 2017 Ambassador Team. “The Chamber staff, ambassadors and the members he serves know Woody is a person you can rely on to get a job done.”
The Chamber’s Ambassadors have a prominent position of responsibility in the business community. They act as the Chamber’s primary liaisons for new and existing members and are highly visible at Chamber events. They assist members by introducing them to the benefits and services of membership and by serving as a means for members to engage in the organization.
David Jameson, Aiken Chamber President/CEO presented the award to Malone. “Woody is an excellent communicator of the Chamber’s mission. We are proud to have him on our team and appreciate the commitment he demonstrates to promoting the Aiken business community,” said Jameson.
