Meet Kathryn Taylor

Local resident Kathryn Taylor joined the Aiken Chamber’s professional team last fall as a part-time information specialist; she was promoted to a full-time position effective January 5.

Taylor manages the front desk operations of the Chamber as well as its website. She serves as the receptionist, maintains the visitors’ center, reserves meeting rooms, serves as the liaison for SCORE, and supports the Chamber’s goals and initiatives.

She has more than 20 years of experience in customer service and worked in the retail industry for several years. Most recently she worked in the fragrance/cosmetics department of Belk, where she earned multiple awards for her customer service skills.

Taylor has lived in Aiken for almost seven years. She moved to the area from Florida after visiting friends in Aiken and becoming enamored with the Aiken community. She is the owner of an online hand poured candle business and serves as a volunteer for the SPCA Albrecht Center for Animal Welfare.
