New "Welcome Aiken" showcases Aiken community

The 2014 edition of the “Welcome Aiken” magazine, scheduled to hit members’ mailboxes in early January, features numerous photos that show the diverse appeal of Aiken as a place to live, work, visit and enjoy.  The front cover is representative of the international presence found  in the Aiken area.

“Our goal is to show residents, visitors, and potential residents the many amenities and choices they have in our community.  It never ceases to amaze me how much is available for people of all ages here,” said Aiken Chamber President J. David Jameson.

“This year we wanted to showcase the diverse international presence we enjoy here.  It began with Aiken’s history and now includes our local industry, higher education, and the Savannah River National Lab at the Savannah River Site," Jameson said.

The 2014 edition of the popular publication is full of useful community information for locals and visitors alike.  Those moving to Aiken will find the relocation guide to be a valuable tool in transitioning to a new community.

The final section of the magazine is the Membership Directory, which the Chamber promotes as the primary source for shopping locally and for business-to-business procurement of goods and services.

Stop by the Aiken Chamber in January and pick up your copy of the 2014 Welcome Aiken.
