Publication showcases impact of partnerships

The 2015 edition of the “Welcome Aiken” magazine is hot off the press and ready for distribution to visitors, potential residents, and the community.

The annual publication features numerous photos that show the diverse appeal of Aiken as a place to live, work, visit and enjoy. The front cover represents what can happen when Aiken puts its mind to something and working partnerships develop.

“Our overall goal with ‘Welcome Aiken’ is to show residents, visitors, and potential residents the many amenities and choices they have in our community,” said Aiken Chamber President/CEO J. David Jameson. “We also want people to see that we are a progressive community that cares about its future.”

“This year we wanted to showcase certain initiatives underway to enhance our economy and quality of life," Jameson said. “These projects and endeavors tout public and private partnerships and the commitment of many people.”

The 2015 edition of “Welcome Aiken” is full of useful community information. Those moving to Aiken will find the relocation guide inside the magazine to be a valuable tool in transitioning to a new community.

The final section of the magazine is the Membership Directory, which the Chamber promotes as the primary source for shopping locally and for business-to-business procurement of goods and services.
