Score offers seminar on selling a business

The local SCORE office will hold a seminar February 26 to help business owners prepare their businesses for sale in today’s marketplace. 


The seminar, “How to Prepare your Business for Sale,” is designed for those interested in selling their business who need to know what to do before putting the business on the market.


Kim Romaner, President, Transworld Business Advisors of Augusta, is the guest speaker.  She has helped many companies prepare to sell their business and/or to purchase a business. She also works in matching franchises with the right clients.


Seminar topics to be covered include:

The keys to improving the value of your business for sale

The perfect time to develop your business exit strategy

Handling unexpected roadblocks when selling your business

How to accelerate and maximize the sale of your business


This SCORE seminar is offered at no-cost to local businesses and entrepreneurs. It will be held at the Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce, 121 Richland Ave. E., Friday, February 26, 9:30 – 11 a.m. Doors open at 9:15.
