Siler named Chamber Ambassador of the Year

Sherri Siler, CSRA Multimedia, Inc., has been named the 2010 Ambassador of the Year for the Aiken Chamber. She received the prestigious award during the Chamber's monthly First Friday Means Business breakfast January 7.

Siler's knowledge of the Chamber and her tenacity served her well as she promoted the value of membership to businesses and welcomed new members to the organization last year.

"Sherri exemplifies the characteristics of a truly dedicated volunteer.  She goes above and beyond to assist the Chamber in meeting its goals.  Whether she is helping a current member or talking with a potential one, she understands the value of building relationships in the business world," said Chamber Chair Frank Thomas, Security Federal Bank.  Thomas was responsible for Membership Services as chair-elect last year.

"Sherri has been a valuable asset to the Chamber and to the business community," said Anna Bridges, VistaBank, 2010 chair of the Ambassador Program. "She is diligent in her ambassador responsibilities and takes on additional tasks whenever she is asked."

Siler was instrumental in assisting the Chamber with fund raising for Aiken's Makin' last year and continues to volunteer as a Chamber ambassador.

She and her husband, Jeff, own and operate CSRA Multimedia, Inc., a company that offers a wide range of media services for professional and personal use.
