Stewart appoints Webb to the Chamber Board of Directors
Liz Stewart, president/owner, Stewart and Associates, Inc. and chair of the Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce, has appointed R. Clifton Webb, vice president of Public Affairs, Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS), to fill an unexpired board vacancy.
Webb has 28 years of public affairs experience, including positions with the Department of Energy (DOE) and DuPont. Prior to coming to SRNS in 2009, he served as vice president of DuPont's Government Affairs office in Washington, DC.
He holds a bachelor of arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina and is a recipient of DuPont's Corporate Marketing Excellence Award and the DOE Silver Medal for Meritorious Service.
Webb currently serves on the board of directors for First Tee of Aiken and the SRS Heritage Foundation. He is a member of Rotary International and is the Children's Place Corporate Fundraising Chair for 2010/2011.
Webb's term on the Chamber board will end December 31, 2012.
