It will be a night to remember when the Aiken Chamber lights up the USCA Convocation Center for the 95th Annual Dinner. More than 7,000 lights will twinkle and glow throughout the center as the Chamber applauds award winners and passes the symbolic gavel for 2013.
The sold out event will take place Friday, January 18, beginning at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by dinner, presentation of awards, and plenty of dancing.
The evening’s theme, “Tonight, Tonight,” promises to showcase a spectacular scene, complete with a lighted forest, for everyone’s enjoyment.
Popular band Too Much Sylvia is coming back to help the Chamber light up the night with their famous repertoire of dance music. Their playlist includes R&B, Motown, oldies, beach, classic rock, a little funk, and some hip hop. The band, which recently surpassed its 2,000-show milestone, played for the Chamber’s 93rd Annual Dinner.
The Chamber’s annual awards, which recognize the Woman and Man of the Year, and the Small and Large Business of the Year, will be presented during the evening’s festivities.
