Julia Walker, CPA, Walker and Company, LLC. Aiken, SC. Julia earned a Master’s in Accountancy with a concentration on Business Measurement and Assurance from the University of South Carolina. Julia is highly experienced in providing income tax, auditing and accounting services to individuals, small businesses, not-for-profits organizations and, governmental entities. Julia is also an Adjunct Professor at Strayer University where she teaches graduate accounting courses on Financial Accounting, Auditing, Forensic Accounting and Fraud Investigation.
Throughout her career, fraud is a routine discovery while working with the clients’ records and something that could be prevented in most cases. Julia will also discuss this, bringing attention to the subject and educating business community on its prevention.
The seminar will be held at the Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce, 121 Richland Ave. E., Friday, August 26, 2016, 9:30 - 11 a.m. Doors open at 9:15.
