Women in Business luncheon: 12 secrets to building loyal teams
Today’s workforce can be very fickle. Employees no longer devote their working lives to one employer. The idea that one can get farther faster by jumping from one company to another, rather than working through the hierarchy of one organization is common. Creating a loyal team can impact everything from company culture to the company’s bottom line.
Effectively growing and fostering a loyal team requires intention and strong leadership. Reducing turnover and the expense of training new employees are just a few of the benefits of a loyal team.
Becky Blevins of State Farm will share with attendees 12 secrets to building loyal teams at the upcoming Women in Business luncheon. The luncheon will be held Wednesday, Sept. 21, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Reserve Club at Woodside Plantation.
Blevins is vice president, agency-sales for the southeastern market area for State Farm. She is responsible for over 400 agents and agency leadership in South Carolina and Georgia. She drives insurance and financial services marketing, sales and profit along with recruiting, hiring and development of agents. She especially enjoys mentoring entrepreneurs and leaders.
Highlights of Becky’s State Farm career include serving as a State Farm agent in central Virginia and leading the enterprise’s customer experience work, which has been trademarked.
She received her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia-Wise, and her MBA from the College of William and Mary.
The cost of the luncheon is $35 per person.
