Company Overview: Today, Mead Hall is organized into a lower school for grades 3K-4 and a middle/upper school for grades 5-12. The school enrolls over 310 students with a wide range of interests in academic, athletic and extracurricular activities. Small class sizes and rigorous college preparatory curriculum prepare students for a lifetime of learning and leadership.

The Next Head of Mead Hall Will Be Expected to… • Develop an admissions strategy to build and sustain a diverse student enrollment of over 400 students across Pre-K-12th grade. • Develop and implement a communication plan to ensure the support and trust of all stakeholders. • Provide leadership in all aspects of financial planning and implementation (i.e., budget development, administrative structure, staffing costs, school operations) to ensure the financial sustainability of the school. • Coordinate capital fundraising activities and develop an endowment fund to support further expansion of the facilities. • Bring the school from a small parish school to the next level of institutionalization of a fully operational Pre-K-12th grade school • Grow a challenging upper school program to ensure that each graduating class is not less than 25 students.
Experiences and Qualifications of a Successful Candidate The Board of Trustees is looking for a dynamic educational leader with proven experience in school operations, administration, development, growth, planning, and community outreach. As the leader of an Episcopal school, the head must seek opportunities to enhance interaction and communication between the school and church communities. Mead Hall reflects the tradition of excellence in academics, athletics and co-curricular programs. The new Head of School must possess the leadership and interpersonal skills to continue to build upon that rich foundation. The salary for a successful candidate will be commensurate with experience.
