2019 Ambassador Team

A dynamic and enthusiastic group of ambassadors recently completed training for the Aiken Chamber’s 2019 Ambassador Program. The 40-member team, who represent a cross section of the Chamber membership, qualified for the prestigious program.
Ambassadors have a prominent position of responsibility in the business community. They act as the Chamber’s primary liaisons for new and existing members and are highly visible at Chamber events. They assist members by introducing them to the benefits and services of membership and by serving as a means for members to engage in the organization. “I am always impressed by our Ambassador Program,” said Chamber President/CEO J. David Jameson. “These volunteers display a keen level of interest and commitment to helping us meet our goal of connecting and engaging our members. They are an asset to the Chamber, and I look forward to working with this fine group during the year,” Jameson said.
Jeremy Stevens, growth and development manager for Wayne’s Automotive and Towing Center, will serve as the 2019 Ambassador Chair. “Being a Chamber Ambassador is a great way to inspire others to find the good in the community, be part of the "pulse" of the business community, while encouraging them to take advantage of the services and relationships that membership in the Chamber has to offer,” Stevens said. Stevens joined the ambassador team in 2017 and was recognized as the Ambassador of the Year his first year. Stevens will be assisted by Vice-Chair Martha Ruthvven, special assisant for Congressman Joe Wilson. “A goal of mine is to create more connections within the ambassador team. This is a gifted group of individuals with a variety of experience and skills. Learning about one another will allow us to make the connections needed to better serve Chamber members.”
